Louis Comfort Tiffany - Design for a rose window
This design reminds me much of the work I was doing last spring with my lino prints. The geometric design was supposed to reflect that of a Gothic rose window such as on Notre Dame. I love the simplicity of this. Beautiful.

I haven’t seen or studied enough sculpture to understand the three dimensional components of a sculpture, however, from the education I have received I can say I am amazed by the scale and the detail along with the careful directing of lines in order keep the eye flowing along the piece. I love this!

I love the detail on this piece. there is something about the textures and the variation of gradation which is undeniably intriguing. Even though the image chosen is of some large strange bird, the many artistic qualities of this piece bring the bird to life.
